Technological Properties of Fiber of Cotton Varieties and Liniy

Abstract

It is known that the cotton varieties of our Republic are among the leaders in the world in terms of fiber quality. In particular, fiber of S-6524, Namangan-77, Bukhara-6 varieties, belonging to the Republic selection, was accepted as a benchmark in the Liverpool stock exchange. Uzbekistan ranks sixth in the world in cotton area and ranks last in terms of fiber yield. Taking into account the above, we have focused our research on fiber yield and technological parameters, especially on creating primary materials with its softness, hardness and high spinability. In the article, based on the results of long-term research conducted by the employees of the Institute's "Technological Properties of Fiber" laboratory, varieties and lines with high fiber yield and length were studied in the Control nursery. The technological quality indicators of 10 selected varieties and rows of fiber were studied on the PRIMER ART 2 HVI equipment belonging to the institute (microner, high average length, specific breaking strength and a number of other characteristics) in comparison with the standard S-6524 cotton variety. In our observations, the most suitable intermediate range of medium-fiber cotton varieties is 3.9-4.9, and its level is considered "medium" according to the microneedle indicator. The sample variety S-6524 was observed to have a range of 5.0 on the micrograin index, and the grade of micrograin was "coarse". It was observed that the CP-2533 cotton variety had a microneural index equal to 3.9 and its level was "thin". Samples of BAX-100, SP-2532, JB-102, Saykhun-1, MTCh-2736, SP-2533, MT-71, MT-303, K-2712 and AN-16 varieties and ridges have a microneural indicator level of cotton fiber "medium ” is located in the interval, their fiber is finer, and the index has decreased to 0.1-0.7. The yarn spin coefficient (SCI) was equal to 140 in sample C-6524. Saykhun-1 variety and JB-102 and MT-71 lines are in the range of 140-149 to the "High" criterion, SP-2532 and SP-2533 cotton varieties and AN-16 line are to the "very high" criterion, the rest of the lines are lower than the model variety MT The -303 range was placed in the "medium" range in the range of 130-139, and the BAX-100, MTCh-2736 and K-2712 ranges in the "low" range in the range of 120-129.
